Do the 66 rear quareter skins work on the 67 GTO. Are there any required modifications to them other than cosmetic. Is it necessary to use the 67 lower patch panels to make the body line correct. Is the difference just in the bumper opening. Anyone with experience with this problem have any suggestions.

A aftermarket 66 quarter panel will fit a 67 . The only difference is the wheel opening lip . The 67 wheel opening moulding does not fit the 66 . To solve this problem , I put a rust free wheeelhouse in with about 2 inches of the wheel opening lip . Butt weld it all together , then finish it off . Yes it's alot of work , but that's what is on my 67 GTO . Everyone knows it has aftermarket 1/4"s on it , but they can't figure out why the mouldings fit .
