Default 64 GTO Conv. 4speed Tribute

1964 San Diego CA second owner black plate car. Built to drive and have fun but also show if desired. Exterior is Warwick Blue. Paint is great with a couple of minor spots. Power white (heavy OEM ) conv. top. Muncie M20 with correct Hurst shifter (no marking or stamp in 64). 389 with 400 heads ported and polished to RAMAIR III specs by race engine builder. Bored .030. Edelbrock 750 cfm carb on Performer intake. Posi 2.93 rear end. New repro interior with original wood wheel.
Car built for driving and it is a very nice road car. We have made several long trips in it and it is a fun fun car that turns heads. Flowmaster exhaust sounds very nice. The car runs very strong also. Will really crank off the line if that is your thing. Everything on the car was re-built or replaced with only the best and correct parts. Original OEM wheels replaced with widened set by Stockton wheel. The tires are aggressive new radials. Neoprene front end rebuild kit used to improve handling. We have enjoyed this car but am retiring at the end of the year so need to sell. Also added a front disc brake conversion set that works great...car actually stops like a modern car versus the old "sleds".
Attention to even the smallest GTO detail was paid...just did not switch the plates as don't want anyone feeling deceived. I'm not much of a photographer, so if you would like more pics just send me a PM. Thanks
Asking $28900.

Default forgot to mention

Car has an original steel GTO hood, both bumpers re-chromed (triple plated), headers, after-market stereo/tape player but dash is uncut.
