Duncan, tried to look at your car at oldride but couldn't find it. Can you expand on what was done to the car during the resto? For example, did you go through the suspension and brakes? Can you post some pics? Thanks.

Thanks for letting me know about the pics. There are pics available on
hotrodhotline.com.
I will also try to post some on my profile here to make it easier.

As far as the bottom of the car, it has been redone completely. The car was a real barn find (was only on the road 10-11 years based on the lic plates on the car) so the original frame was rock solid with NO rust whatsoever and which I repainted with POR 15 and GM chassis paint, and almost all of the bottom side panels required only wire brushing off dirt down to the original black primer.

I personally did the mechanical suspension work including new rubber front end kit, tie rod ends, front stabilizer bar hardware, ball joints, idler arm, shocks, coil springs, rear coil springs, rear shocks. I installed new SS brake and gas lines, rubber brake hoses to wheels, clean gas tank from a CA low mileage 66 GP, new tank sender, and emergency brake cable, etc..

I rebuilt the drum brakes and installed new wheel brake cylinders and rams, brake pads, and brake hardware.

The exhaust system is all new with new hangers and brackets.

Essentially the car has been rebuilt with top high quality parts top to bottom. The bottom of the car looks very nearly as nice as is did when it was new.

I purchased OEM 8-lugs with plenty of lining left and new caps and rings and bought new redline radial tires that have maybe 200-300 miles.

Thanks again.

Default Dream Cars

Thanks, John
I hope you have lots of fun with your '67...another Pontiac favorite of mine. I bet that 455 pushes her along very nicely. I would love to see more pictures of your car as it looks like you have done a lot of work on it.
