Automatic back drive linkage?
Anyone reproducing the back drive linkage for the 70 birds? Automatics I wouldn't think are that hard to come by. Not seeing them anywhere.

What are you looking for? There should be plenty of used pieces around, I know I have some from parting a car or two. I don't know if anyone is reproducing them though.

Thanks Chris,
Missing the entire reverse rod setup for a floor shift automatic, the pieces that connect to the column itself to activate the backup lights and ignition lock/lock floor shifter in place etc.... I believe there should be a bracket that mounts on the frame that also coincides with the shifter on the trans, then a rod that runs up to the steering column. For some reason I thought this was reproduced (looks alot like a column shifter setup) so I figured fairly common. Apparently I'm mistaken. Any help appreciated. Thanks Larry |

I'll take a look when I have some time. I know I have some manual parts not sure on the automatic stuff. Looks much simpler for the auto stuff.
