I'd say you came out on the winning end of that deal!!! You're gonna enjoy top down cruising this summer in Darksider style!

Still smiling over this one (and happy to have crossed over).
Went through the parts in the trunk last night and can’t believe what I found. Unopened boxes of parts, trim pieces, 2 sets of grilles, 3 sets of complete taillights, ash trays in almost NOS condition, new weather-stripping, even found the original bill of sale for $3410.

This is the first time my wife sat in a bench seat car. So I showed her what they are intended for! She digs it.

Very cool, do you know what disk break conversion was installed? Is this something new or old option off another car?
Thanks,
Mike

Man paint it white and it would look like the car I took to A school. Drove it from Chicago to Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and back, with my right leg in a cast from the hip down!

I have a great story involving that car, some tank trails, power sliding, and two MPs in a jeep.

On the weekends we would put the top down, pile in and cruise town. Thanks for bringing back those memories!

My father was stationed at Aberdeen in the early '50s. Let's just say that if the Russians landed there to invade the USA, they could have just surrounded the BOQ and the Officer's Club and it all would have been over!
