That stinks. Roadkill and Engine Masters were my two favorite shows. I guess it’s on to re-runs now.

Yup this sucks. But sounds like they already have some new stuff filmed so we will see new stuff for a bit.
Will have to find something else to watch, Not sure what. Soaps, LOL. Maybe someone else will pick it up?

They come to the D here and do a roadkill nights, drag racing on Woodward. Hope that still happens.

That sucks. I always liked watching RoadKill episodes. Very similar to what I envision for myself if I ever hit the lottery, only with Pontiacs instead of Mopar products

Nearly all of the MT hosts have pivoted to their own YouTube channels and some of them are putting out some pretty good content - I'm a big fan of the Stay Tuned (Tony Angelo) and David Freiburger channels.

I'm bummed about this, but they had a good run. Definitely a short sighted bean counter move on Discovery's part but you could see it coming a mile away with the way the content has dribbled out. I do see a lot of positives in the crew being able to control their own destinies on YouTube now but the content will likely be more fragmented since they all have their own channels and presumably smaller budgets. Tony Angelo made it work for himself pretty well, though.

Allegedly, according to both hosts, there are plans to continue with Roadkill Nights. At least in 2025

Ian Rousselle also decided not to go back to Motor Trend TV. Has his own YouTube channel.
