Default Dash Board Issue

I have a '65 Gto and have an issue with the dash board indicators.
Someone prior to me updated the dash gauges and indicator lights. However the problem is that the 'green' turn signal indicator is RED and the 'red' high beam indicator is GREEN. Can someone who has experience in correcting this issue advise me on the difficulty involved to correct. Thanks in advance, Gary

If memory serves, it’s not too hard. You need to remove all the screws holding on the gauge cluster part of the dash, tilt the top back and you should be able to access the lenses. Funny thing, my car had the exact problem when I bought it.

Good luck.

Those two openings have a red plastic insert or a green insert. You can either unplug the sockets and switch ‘em or switch the plastic inserts.

The difficulty is pretty low - it can be time consuming, though. I always pull my steering wheel and take the seats out before working behind the dash.

I recently replaced my under dash harness- it took me three weeks because I can’t stand more than 2 hours at a time.

Cluster has to come out of the bezel ,lens's go in bezel them there are 2 tubes that go in then the cluster goes in . Not something that can be done with out pulling entire dash assy.
