Smile It Lives!! 37 is on the road!

Just wanted to share a few pics of my 37. After 6 yrs I drove my 37 around town last weekend. I felt like a kid at X-mas!! Holy crap, what a rush! Thanks to all of you that have helped me out over the years with encouragement and advice. This forum has been an invaluable resource for parts and assistance. I've still got a lot to do, but it's up and running,
licensed and insured! Woo Hoo!!!!

Yes great looking car. I noticed in the engine photo you have plastic fuel line. I hope you have replaced it by now.

That seems to be (is) a nice, elegant looking ride that can get up and go, or magnify a formal ocasion.

Cool.

Love the cymbals for breather covers. Got a bass drum pedal for the gas pedal?

Thanks Ollie, I haven't replaced it yet. It only runs from the fuel block to the carbs. I keep the fire extinguisher within arms reach!!! Thanks for the heads up!

Whoop it up! Enjoy the fruits of your labors!

Boy it makes me "disturbed" to see your '37 in such fine shape just when I've started looking at a rough '37 coupe as a project car (trying to justify buying it).

You've got a very nice ride!
