Nice looking German Shepherds everyone.

Here is my Marlie Kruze when she was about 6 months. She is way bigger now.

Rex, Max's sidekick. Rex has developed somewhat of a mean streak with age, and his bite packs a punch.

I love dogs but I sure hope you are training that behavior out of him.

I love german shepherds they are very smart and loyal. i used to breed them until my pair died. her of old age and he died not long after at 9 yrs of what I think was a broken heart. I replaced them with this pair, but he died suddenly without any symptoms at all of what the vet said was probably a heart attack. he was just a little over one year old and was 145lbs. the vet said he sees that in abnormally big dogs like he was. I just replaced him two weeks ago with another pure black one. he is 10 weeks old and is responding very well to the training we are giving him. hopefully he will be healthy.

Had GSD's all my life..love 'em! Here's my current one, German lines, Rocky.

I had an all black one prior to this one muscle collector....love the all black! I was training him for bite work and schutzhund. He had unbelievable drive. I could not tire him out. Unfortunately he passed and I think his stomach flipped on me. The high drive dogs are prone to that happening. Rocky is a bit more laid back, but will do anything for me to kick a one world soccer ball.

they are such good looking dogs and for whatever reason, most people are scared to death of them. when I was a kid the guy who lived behind us was an attorney and had some people mad at him and he bought a all black shepherd because the police told him people were terrified of shepherds and an all black one was especially intimidating. I always remembered that and will admit that people who come over are especially nervous around the all black ones. I bread an all white male with a predominately black female. they had 3 or 4 litters and I got some really cool colors, like all red, all apricot, really pretty silver / black and apricot / black ones.

Concur with the Black GSD theory.

Mitze was bred with an all black semi longhair...

from this:

to this (Blue* at 1 year old):

He is now a solid 100#, and seeing him come out of the dark is a very bad thing if you are messing with one of his people...

*we color coded the pups; his color stuck as his name.

You couldn't ask for a better companion than a German Shepherd. We lost our last Shepherd in February, 2 weeks before her 15th birthday. In April, we purchased another female from Jerland Kennels in Barron, Wisconsin and she is shaping up to be a great dog. The picture is Zeena at 6 months old.

Heres mine. Dusty. She will be 14 in Feb. Her hips are starting to give her trouble now so she moves a bit slow now.

Not a Shepard but kinda close.
Bucks a Belgian Malinois
Picture taken about 2 months ago, he's 6 months old now and both ears are standing up now.

Great buddy, but I wish I had just 1% of the energy he has
