Atco in NJ just closed down for good!

That's terrible news! During my high school years I lived in Hammonton, NJ, about 20 minutes from Atco and had some fun Friday nights there. Hopefully another outfit reopens it. Capitol Raceway in Maryland was reopened a few years ago by Hurricane Racing Tours - nothing fancy but at least the doors are open...

Sorry for your loss. It's a blessing to live in the heart of race country. 6 race tracks within 1 hour. Piedmont, Farmington, Mooresville, Wilkesboro ( eight mile tracks) Zmax, Rockingham, quarter mile tracks .

Baytown here closed done and towers have been torn down. San Antonio track closed a year or two ago also.
Dallas area still has the Motorplex in Ennis and a nice new 1/8th mile track off I-45 also that seems to always have stuff going on.
