Looks like you found a proper Chassis Shop to do the work. Name of the Shop?

Tony is happy with it. He has billet crank/rods/crowned pistons for a pretty heavy rotating weight for making NA power, but it did stellar anyways for a street engine. Our street 476 made 754.4 with valve springs floating that we are sure will make over 800HP with 60 less cubic inches. The power on this engine is to keep it running and let the turbos blow through the huge Tunnel Ports. Thanks to Ed, Tony(at guys at BES), Tom V, Holley, Turbonetics, All Pontiac for helping make this prototype engine a reality.

Thanks Jeff,

We're setting it up to run either the steam rollers or 10.5 tires.

Lightening up the front end with SmithRaceCraft upper\lower arms and rack.

Anyone have a technical drawing of a standard Pontiac or Ehead head showing valve and rocker stud locations they could send me?

Thanks,
Ed

Cant help you on the drawings, but Standard heads and E heads are slightly different in valve location and stud boss iirc. I think stud girdles are different part numbers and pretty sure E-heads can experience valve pocket clearance issues on pistons cut for standard heads.

Hi Bruce,

I was trying to get a sense for what it would take to get a rockershaft fabbed up. the RA-V's should be similar to the existing inline stuff, just slightly different rocker stud and valve locations. The engine currently has standard crane 28747 stud mounted rockers.

Hi Tom,

PM me your email address and I'll send you the measurements I took off of one of my RA-V heads. Based on what was done to my heads, it’s unlikely it will fit though.

Best
Ed
