Broomstick in the collector adjustment. I have had 3 sets of headers (2 the same manufacturer and model) and the collectors were in different locations when mounted, one side high or low, one side toed in or out and one side further forward/ back of the other.

That must be a serious broom handle LOL! I've never had to "adjust" collectors before. Good idea though. So you just slide something up inside the collector and pull? Seems like that would take quite a bit of pull. I did see a guy at the muffler shop tweak one with a screw jack before.

Good eye! Yes, H-O Racing Specialties sticker from the 80's. Other is Keith Black Hemi. I'll try and remember to take a good pic of them. An old stick thread might be cool?

Thought it was vintage Hurst before I dawned my goggles. Post em up, I don't have any old decals, like to see what everyone else has.

As for 'DogMeister's' headers, I didn't get the brand, maybe just wonky from the start, I've mostly used Doug's or Hooker's, no issues.

Here's the first stickers I was talking about. The other one is an old St. Louis area carb shop (CM Performance). I wish it wouldn't have gotten so beat up.

It's a Car Craft Street Machine Nationals participant stickers. Probably late 80's or early 90's vintage.

Car Craft did the Street Machine Nationals for several years in Indianapolis back in the late 70s and early 80s. I went with the Twin Turbo 68 Corvette (Mechanical Fuel Injection) in the year when guys were doing burn-outs the first night and the second night the INDY Cops armed with baseball bats were taking full swings into the body work on any car doing that behavior. Did not put you in jail, destroyed your car with Bats and claimed the behavior was to protect themselves and the citizens of Indianapolis.

The burn-out chit stopped immediately and a lot of the cars left the event early.
They passed out those stickers at each yearly event.

Lucky that they were not using Pontiac engine frame mounts on chains, lol. Just to keep the thread on track.

After looking again, I can see where the year has been damaged on the Car Craft sticker. Looks like 1987 maybe. This would have been from Du Quoin, IL. It was a zoo back then. Massive burnouts and crazy driving everywhere. They eventually cracked down big time. One way traffic and State Police Everywhere. Yawn...

And yes, those frame mounts were at the events.
