PY sells them. You might also want to check with any of the big auto parts stores. I have found that the average price at one of the big auto part suppliers is about 25 bucks with a 15 buck core charge.

Most of the original reman's that one buys at most parts store are not the exact style casting caliper that was used on '69-72 disc brake A & G bodies. Take an original set to the parts store sometime & ck out the rebuilts. Look real closely at the shape back by the hose mtg area. Don't trade your originals in (have them rebuilt).

Even better... try going to your best local parts store & ordering some remans for a '69 Bird or Camaro.

Boy, I'd really have to want to keep the car "correct" to bother repairing a cracked caliper. Or trying to score a used one, either...

My 72 LeM 'vert has the original disk brakes. When I rebuilt the front end, I was going to rebuild the calipers. The rebuild kit from Pep Boys was $10 each, a rebuilt caliper was $14, done and done with a lifetime guarantee. For an extra $4 each, I couldn't be bothered. But, the car was far from correct in many other areas, too, so I wasn't bastardizing something rare.....

On the other hand, if the caliper is cracked, a rebuild kit would do you no good, anyway. The kit is just the soft parts.

I got new rubber hoses at the same time, too. Another staggering $8 each from Pep Boys. And they had all this stuff right on the shelf, too.

15K miles later and no troubles so far.....

Good Luck,

Kirk
