Yeah, when I read the label it said something to the effect of not to use in applications over 200 degrees, I read it as not to APPLY at over 200 degrees. Doh!

On to plan B. And sandblast the oil pan again.

Man, I gave up and finally called Summit tech line because I can’t find exactly what I want. Kinda the reason I used the Rustoleum anyway.
No semi gloss black brush on engine paint to be found. I either stick with what I have or go gloss. POR engine paint is not semi gloss, and their chassis black is not high heat.
I’ll worry about it after the holidays.

FYI, the POR 15 satin black is rated at 450deg continuous. Other than around the heads exhaust ports or coolant cross overs you not going to reach that temp.

btw... I noticed that Eastwood also makes a brush-on high temp engine paint in 2 different pontiac colors. Anyone have experience with those?
