..a dullard is a "ignorant or stupid person". You don't often hear it used on this side of the Atlantic very often, at least since the early 20th century.

Lemme see ... a "dullard" means "stupid and/or ignorant person" and LOCK says (while swigging another Colt 45?) "What's a dullard?"

Sometimes we can't make this stuff up!

Just kidding LOCK!!

All in a day's fun LOCK! No apologies necessary!

I'm still upset that I wasn't in Arizona to buy:

1- 69 RA4 Convertible frame off #matching red/red for $125,00
2- 69 RA4 Convertible 4spd # matching for $85,000
3- '70 RA4 Judge 4spd # matching MINT FRAME OFF for $117,000

Oh well ... I'm pretty certain that 2007 will be down from 2006 overall and 2008 won't be much better. In other words plenty of time to get some great cars are RELATIVELY great prices.

Don't forget guys! There are allot of serious Pontiac buyers that will pay "all the money" for the right pedigree cars. Many of these so called "bargain buys" do have dubious history behind them. (Re-bodies, restamps, resurrected boneyard hulls, cars reconstructed around a transmission, etc.) History, paperwork, and aucthenticity IS everything. The right car will always do the money with the educated buyers and many of us know and remember these questionable cars.

I heard the White Judge 4 was the real deal. In fact, does anyone in here know anything about these three cars that we'd call questionable? Know and not heard!

I remember there was some controversy surrounding the '69 TA RA IV Auto at last years auction. I have no personal knowledge of the car, but the "word on the street" was that it was a rebody.

The Delorean SD421 Tempest was pulled out of the auction. Anyone know why? I was really looking forward to seeing that one. (unless it was sold and I missed it)

I don't buy the "rebody" stories until there's proof. Plus that demeans this man's purchase, which if the car was real was an absolute steal! I congratulate him on this great car and hope that he doesn't find out anything that any of us would be devastated by.

I spoke to a guy who bought a Tasca Ford vintage drag car at BJ a couple years ago. Two weeks later he got a call from someone that saw the car burn to the ground in 1966. When he confronted the guy who built the car, he admitted it was a clone. Barret Jackson took the car back and returned his money.

I bet the buyer bought it back and paid all the auction fees too.

As it should be. B-J cannot be held responsible for what they DON'T know. However, if they DID know ... big dollar lawsuit.
