Half Breed
I thought I'd seen everything......Nope, this one is special!
67 front that's been fitted with 66 grills, plus 67 rear that seems to have 66 tail lights...WOW! Mostly 67 interior with a few 66 items mixed in. Even the rear bumper is a 67 lemans (no back up lights).

Don't forget the standard rivets on the trim tag. Big red flag.

Someone MUST have informed him by now what's going on with this car so it's kinda hard to believe he's just an un-informed seller at this point.

I messaged the seller a couple times about the obvious problems with the car. He told me it was how he purchased it and felt like he had been the victim of a shady deal. He said he would end the auction until he could find out exactly what the car was. I see he didnt end it. I just hope the poor schmuk who bought it doesnt send him any money!! Nearly 10k for a total bogus car.

I notified the Uniontown Pa. Police Dept. They were going to look into it. I also made ebay aware of the issues.

I'll bet that's the original 326 in the car.

Wow, an original 66 "GTO" with a 67 header panel and 66 grills. Very rare indeed.
That care has fraud written all over it. I sure hope he gets nailed by the "new" owner and eBay. But then again eBay is an idiot for allowing him to relist and sell it.

While we're on the subject, did anyone see the eBay listing for the 1966 GTO that was originally sold in France?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Pontiac-GTO-...US_Cars_Trucks It has a different VIN data plate under the hood. I have never seen this before. There is additional documentation provided. |

The French car is very nice. My favorite interior with a white car.

The eyebrows on the back look more 67ish to me. I sent the guy a message also.
He messaged me back too. Stating he felt he was swindled by his father in law and was gonna end the auction. He gave me his ph number to call him to give him more info on the car. I called him twice and mailed him once more. But he never answered I see the car sold, lol. |

Someone is screwed out of $9,761.01, or they don't know or care what it is. Not all that bad a price, but I wonder tho how good the body and frame are.

I think it's a terrible price for that Frankenstein monster of a car.

I agree whole heartedly. Have seen a lot nicer cars sold for less.
