Default 65 GTO vs 65 Catalina / Bonneville exhaust

Hi,
I have Big Trouble with the downpipes for my 65 Bonneville 389 4bbl
I bought an Full exhaust System from pypes.
All nice, but the Front downpipes do Not fit. The steering link is Kissingen the downpipes. No Way to make it fits!

Step 2
I bought downpipes from RAM .. Result: does Not fit , too. Same Problem!

What else can i do?

The GTO dual downpipes to muffler looking Stock Same As the Bonneville / /Catalina
Any experiences?

Can i buy the Stock downpipes from an GTO so i can use the Part from exhaust manifold to the trans Cross member ??

Thx Bjoern

The easiest way out is to go to a local shop that does custom exhaust and have them bend your pipes.
