Default adjustable rear upper control arms. which year do i need?

I put a 71 buick 8.5 in my 67 gto a few years back. Need to correct my pinion angle ,and wondered if it mattered if I used the early arms {longer } or the later arms {shorter}.
I would think the longer arm shortened would be better as long as there is enough adjustment. haven't decided a brand at this point. Experiences or opinions?

thanks
Tim
