Be sure to measure the tunnel radius at no more than 6 inches (I think) behind the front U-joints. Get a Lakewood or Chassis Engineering Loop with the correct outside radius to fit the tunnel.

What about this one:
http://www.pro-touringf-body.com/cha...omponents.html

Driveshaft Loop
Don't drill your floor to put in a driveshaft loop!
This one mounts to your trans mount in about 30 min. Installation time.
GM 4 speed 0CF-830 $49.00

Tremec 5speed 0CF-831 $49.00

GM Th400 0CF-832 $49.00

This is the one I use(4 speed BW)...No hole drilling in your car. Has worked well for me. I did extend it a little to fit the loop into a pocket....used some rubber insulation with a sticky side to keep it from vibrating against the bottom of the car..worth it to me if you may go back stock one day..

I have one in mint condition i took out of my 68 bird. You can have it for 30 bucks plus shipping you have to bolt thru the floor

thanks for the info guys...the next question i'll have is exactly where to mount it....

i put a bid on one on ebay, its a local seller so i dont have to pay shipping...if i dont win consider yours sold rex. i will pm you in a day or two,,,,,,

i hadnt considered the trans mount style and really appreciate the insight but my floor pans are not special to me and i dont mind bolting it in.....
