Default Chrome Plating Bumpers, Pot Metal, Straightening and Anodizing Stainless Trim

I am in the Indianapolis area. Can anyone recommend any quality bumper plating, pot metal plating, and stainless straightening and anodizing companies in the Indianapolis area? In the state or surrounding states? I want the chrome to be as good or a bit better than would have come from the factory. I want a reputable place or places that I do not have to worry about getting quality work, and getting the parts back that I gave them. I had a place in PA do bumpers for me, and I did say to repair as needed any dents, but there were only a couple of small issues. When I got them back, the back sides of the bumpers were beat to hell. No way those were the bumpers I gave them. I am tempted to engrave the backs of my bumpers just to be sure. There is only one of my present bumpers that is slightly bent, and the rest are straight. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You
Tim Baker

If you wind up shipping things somewhere, I can recommend a guy who does a great job of straightening and polishing stainless trim, I think in a Rochester NY suburb (I could look it up). The only trim strips I could find for the sides of my '59 GMC bed (rare option) were folded up in a junkyard pile. Somehow, he made them look like new! I think it cost me about $1 per inch (which I gladly paid), but that was a few years ago.

Try J&P Custom Plating in Portland, Indiana. I used them to redo my pitted vent window frames and they did a really nice job. Also had them remove dents and polish stainless trim, same good results. They have different "levels" of quality depending on what you want to pay. Timely and reasonably priced.

I too live in Indianapolis. I used LKQ out by Plainfield. Drop it off to them. They ship it and return it no charge to and from their plating facility in Minnesota. There were no grind marks. All dents removed. Lifetime guarantee. I did etch my initials on back side-just to make sure I got mine back.
Good luck
Tony

Three companies I have used in the past:
McNichols in MI for anodizing
Tri-City in TN for bumpers
Pauls Plating in PA for pot metal
ALL did a fantastic job!
