Not me, either. Unless I had many millions of dollars at my disposal. It's a killer car, though, and I like it a LOT.

Even if the price was $50,000 instead of $250,000 I wouldn't be interested.

The many body shape is fantastic, but then it is a classic Mustang shell. It falls apart in the details, where it becomes clear that whoever was doing the design work has no vision or taste.
So there is no reason to buy it for it's appearance, how about it's performance or handling? Well, let's see- any number of cars will out perform it and at a fraction of the cost, sooooo...
I guess the question is why would anyone buy one? Which begs the question... has anyone actually bought one?

For that kind of money I would get a nice house with a huge garage.

A decent '66 or '67 T/L/GTO donor body, restored. 25,000.00
Street Rod Garage chassis or equivelent, with Corvette suspension F&R. 30,000.00
GM LS-9 from GM motorsports, with accessories. 40,000.00 installed
Other incendentals and assembly. 30,000.00

That's what I would have for half the cost. I've been thinking about it for some time. I paid over 115,000.00 for my 911.

Let us review: A Mustang body, with Mopar Nose & Tail with a Corvette/Camaro drivetrain mixed together?

Perhaps someone is attempting to let us all know through this vehicle that USA is destined to have one auto mfg. ("single payer") that melds all into one brand?

"Beneath classic lines lie the latest elements of automotive technology — an aluminum chassis, aluminum body lined with carbon fiber, Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, GM's Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension and Michelin Pilot Sport tires.

The Bass 770 is powered by the General Motors LS9 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that also powers the Chevrolet C6 Corvette ZR1. The 640 horsepower is delivered through a 6-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Performance specs from Equus indicate a top speed of 200 mph and 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. "

Why not simply purchase the best of any one, or two, of the 3? Ex: ZR1 or ZL1, SRT8, GT500, etc?

My personal "custom" choice would include the same mfg power train in a same mfg body.

Ex: If this Mustang Body had a Coyote (Ford) GT style drive train - cool. Take a Camaro Body and install same Coyote (Ford) GT style drive train - not so much.

Custom shops around here build these $250k and beyond "creations" that combine all of the latest equipment. Many times the results are a beautiful vehicle that is a hardly driven "show boat", many other times - not so much a beauty...depending on the conglomeration, for the same $$$ expenditures.

Each to their own.

Personally I like the Equus Baas 770 Mustang. Full black out treatment and 638HP makes that one cool ride. Only thing is the front bumper design leaves a lot to be desired, but I do like that car!

For much, much less you could get a GTM supercar (Factory Five kit car).
Kits are $25K minus drivetrain and paint.
