quick snapshot of the car with 225/70/15 MT's. Front end sits a little high with the new moog coil springs. I had the new springs tested, which were only 30 lbs heavier than the 40 year old original springs. If it does not settle down after a while, I may go with the lighter option that moog offers.

The car is factory with no AC and manual steering, so a little lighter than a fully optioned car. Plus whatever weight I saved with the aluminum intake. I have a new set of air springs/bags to raise the rear up a bit, but not installed yet.

But, all new suspension, bushings, etc, and the car cruises down the road very nice!

Thanks. Wife is actually happy with it now. She was a little miffed that I sold our nice 66 4spd and ended up going this route for a new project. I like the uniqueness of the 73, and is better for what I want to use it for... driving and hitting the drag strip!

The 66 was fun, but more of a show car, and just not as nice on the highway.

Default tire choices

Very nice. And stock looking as well. Not sure about air shocks. Some guys get a nasty wheel hop from them. I guess a guy needs to play with tire pressure at the track. On the road suspension feels a little stiff.

Yeah, I don't care for air shocks but these work really well...
