Default seat buzzer harness help

i am putting in my diver seat in my 72 formula and am not sure were the black connector goes to . am i missing something on my seat

I think the majority of people disconnected the seat buzzer? There were even service bulletins on how to do that. (offhand probably goes to driver door light switch?)

I have them somewhere but if needed can look for them.

In your picture is the seat occupancy sensor. Not sure if that's what you're talking about but that snaps on to the seat bottom with the arch up. There is also a wire that goes to the seat belt retractor mounted on the floor. Passenger side should have the same.

To be clear, the passenger seat is the only seat that gets the "occupancy sensor"(OC). The Drivers seat doesn't get one (OS). Lay the harness out and see how far the wires will take you. Going by memory, I believe the yellow wire connects to the drivers seat belt retractor and the other to the passenger side belt retractor.

What I'm not seeing in your picture is where it connects back to the dash. I don't remember where the wire comes from to feed that circuit. It was 17 years ago I put my car together.

You clearly have a late build 72. Do you know the build date or first 3 of the last 6 of the VIN?
