1971/1972 GTO/LeMans Sport Hood
1971/1972 GTO/LeMans Sport OEM Hood
$750.00 Located in Kansas City area/Local Pick-up only This hood has issues including rust on underside of nose, kinked edges and maybe rust or dings under bondo in 3 places. I don't have a compressor or I'd strip it. This part is only re-produced in fiberglass and they only produced around 16,400 71 and 72's GTOs and not a ton of LeMans with the scooped hood so this hood is hard to find and expensive in any condition. Looks like it's a 71 hood by the leading edge - hard to find hood in any condition.

What's the difference between 71 and 72? How can you tell? Do they fit the same?

Fit the same but late 71 hoods and all of the 72's have indents on the leading edge. Early/mid 71's are smooth across the front.
