Default 66 Front grill mount repair

I need to repair 4 broken grill mounts what are you guys using on the cracked mounts ? Epoxy if so what kind thanks.

We filled the space with 2 part epoxy then drilled a hole and added a threaded insert.

Did you use JB or just plastic epoxy ?

I had 4 broken tabs on my 2 grills not having the pieces that broke out I didn,t know which way I wanted to go to repair, looking on the net I found a product called Plastix repair, watched the video and ordered the product, well as we all know alot of this stuff don,t work as advertised but this stuff does, follow the instructions don,t get in a hurry you,ll be very satisified, I was, jd grim 66 gto

Here's the Webb site www.plastex.net Like I said above I could not believe how good this stuff works I even made the bottom tab on the grill that fits against the headlight bezel, all made in USA to. good luck jd grim 66 gto

I can't count the number of times I could have used this stuff. Thanks for the link JD. You know, you could actually start a small plastic repair buisness on the side with this stuff.

I'm ordering a master tech kit right after Christmas. I've got a grill tab to repair, and a bunch of other stuff too.

Anyone know what type of plastic the original surrounds were made of. After looking into this a bit it appears that there are repair products that target specific types of plastic. I think the surrounds were made from ABS, but I'm not sure.
