I love the color scheme...but, have done another car that had this much rust. Not fun.

Good luck with the sale, as I hope this one gets saved!

No such thing as a 455 HO in 1976. You could get a 455 with a 4 speed, and that was the only way. You could not get an automatic with the 455. But the engine was not designated as an HO.

Default 1976 455 ho Ta 455 ho

I really don't go on here that much but i had to reply to all of the people on here that think they know everything about pontiac cars, Ill give yo a brief description of my self and you can be entitled to your opinion , but unless you have the paperwork to back it up ,, it doesn't mean much... I am 58 yrs old my family have worked for the pontiac motor Division for some 40 Years, I currently Own 43 Pontiacs, 3 chevrolets , 2 buicks and 2 mopars, in 1962 my father ran one or the black 421 SD cats in NewYork for 10 Years, My Uncle Owned a Pontiac Dealership for 30 years in NY called Nardy Pontiac.. Ihave met John Delorean Numerous times .. My Uncle was Marty Caserio, who was the President of pontiac from 1972 thru 1977, he spent a lot of time at thanks giving talking about what was coming up in the next years models , My older Brother has many pontiacs and bought on of the Royal Pontiac RA 2 4 speeds used in 1970, and drag raced it for 7 yrs , I currently own it!!! The above car is a regular 455 , even though pontiac dropped it in 1977, it is in nOO way a 1971 or a 1972 455 HO, But i will tell you all that when pontiac started advertising the 1966 Trans am with a 455 they called it a High Output and also 455 ho!!!! i have the paperwork and advertisements from 1976.... You are all intiltled to your opinion but black and white speaks for itself!! I appreciate the input from the correction police but i don't have all that time to answer your Quotes!! IM JUST HERE TO SELL AN EXTRA CAR!!!
