Default Thanks for keeping the forum

with the merger of Performance Years and Ames I was concerned that this forum might disappear. I'm glad that it will continue. I've learned a lot of great stuff on here, made some good connections, bought cars and parts from other members and enjoyed the dialog. Thanks for providing this forum for all us Pontiac fans.

X2 I think the best form of thank you would be a purchase from Ames!

Yes, I so glad that Chris and Ames are going to keep this forum going. With all of the Pontiac magazines going under, it is getting harder and harder to find good Pontiac information! This forum is a great resource and I will certainly support our new sponsors!

Couldn't have said it better myself. No question there isn't any better place on the web when it comes to any resources pertaining to our old Pontiacs. My car is simply a better car because of this forum.

I am also 100% pleased that the Forums will remain alive and active. I have always bought my parts from either Ames or PY over the past 20 years! Have not used another Pontiac supplier since 1994.

Chris made a tough but well thought out business decision and the future of the Forums hung in the balance no doubt. Some great Pontiac history and reference on these pages from some excellent contributors.

I bought my first old Pontiac back on Valentines Day '94. There was a lot of catalog shopping and article reading back then to find out about how to work on that old car. I remember when I first got a computer and got online and found the performance years site. I didn't sign up for a long time as I was just a casual reader and really had no knowledge to share. Although I've had several different cars over the last 21 years this has always been home. It freaked me out that morning when I was getting that page not available message. Then I got the letter and was relieved. This is a great site, tons of knowledge, tons of help. Thanks for keeping it going.

Could not find link.
I did a great deal of searching today on another computer, not liked to the home PC. Did a number of searches and could not find any link to the site.
If I could not locate the forum, many others will not have a clue, especially with no link on the Ames site.
A work in progress?

Go to Ames homepage and scroll down to the advertising. You will find the PY forum link there just below the "New Products" banner.

X's 2 Each time reading posts - about this or that link or previous feature inop now - I recall when the PY forum seemingly was gone for good

Thx for effort to keep and migrate the PY Forum.

I've bought from both PY and Ames over the years, and been very satisfied, so I have no problem with the merger. I too am glad the forums remained.

About Us

The PY Online Forums is the largest online gathering of Pontiac enthusiasts anywhere in the world. Founded in 1991, it was also the first online forum for people to gather and talk about their Pontiacs. Since then, it has become the mecca of Pontiac technical data and knowledge that no other place can surpass.
