I had a Scat billet crank, it wasn't bad, didn't have center counter weights though.

When I ordered my Bryant crank about 10 years ago I remember discussing center counter weights but they felt it wasn't necessary . It was only the second pontiac crank that they made , Jon Kasse got the first . Wish I could change that but it is what it is .

We have used a lot of SGI cranks and never had a problem with one. Occasionally we will find the journals a tad on the large side and have to use X bearings or a combination of standard and X to get clearances right but they are good cranks. I feel they are every bit as good as SCAT.
