Hi Folks,

As newbe, I just register to this Pontiac forum. My name is Hans, living in Deurne, located in the Netherlands.
Last summer I bought myself a 66-er Pontiac Lemans 326 (1 of the 3 in this country). Because my work ables me to spend time to read everything about the early Pontiacs, I discover this forum...

BR,
Hans

(ps. sorry for my bad English, don't feel sorry to correct me)

Merry Christmas, btw

Welcome to PY Hans. Nice looking 4 door Lemans. 1 of 3 makes it a pretty rare car. I'd say it's also kind of rare to see one here in the States too.

The only 4 door 326 I've seen around here is sitting in a junkyard in very bad shape, and not far from me. If I remember right it's a 66 too, but could be a Tempest.

Merry Christmas to you and your family.

Thank you guys,

I found out that most (web)stores have parts for a convertible or a 2drs. For example Doorparts or doorrubbers for a 4drs are more rare.. The other 2 here, are also a 2drs and a convertible .
At this moment the Lemans is sleeping in my parents barn again, The summer may start tommorow for me .
I did look for a Pontiac in the US to bring over, but I didn't could take the risk. Maybe I got the feeling that the best conserved Pontiacs (or other 60-70's) in the dry States are gone by now.
Must say, the prices are a lot less then over here ..(What you got in Dollars I have to pay in Euro's, the same (or even worse) for Gas. You may not complain about the Gasprice over there

Grtzz Hans
(Pff my nightshift may end by now)

Glad to have you here, Hans.

That 4-door is rarer than you think. The 4-door hardtop, or sometimes called sport sedan, has considerable lower production figures than a post sedan.

I think it looks great. The wheels set off the black cordova top just right.

I just noticed she has factory A/C. With that and other options, it could have been as pricey as a GTO when it was new.

Thanks for the nice replies, guys!

Yes it has bench seats, probably renewed because the carpet is a bit dfifferent then the doorpanels.

The A/C is probably removed after restoring the engine a few years ago. I have some A/C parts, but i believe they are useless after a long time eating dust. Is a new AC kit exspensive in the US?

@ Lightfoot, the top is called cordova? (not leather or vinyl?) It is getting some cracks, is this "easy" replacable? I would like to keep it mostly original, and often i see the top painted instead of a new leathertop.. probably more cheaper also..

Once again, thanks for the feedback

Grtz Hans

Replacing the vinyl top is not that difficult...but finding the material and locating someone in your country with the knowledge and experience to do the job could be.
What parts of the A/C are missing? You might be better off with a Vintage Aire system.
