Default Legendary Motorcar

This is the first time I have watched this show. I have seen this guy on a few other shows but not this reality type deal. What's the story?

I'm confused about what you're questions are about this show. You watched the show. What didn't you understand about it?

He owns Legendary. Similar deal to Chasing Classic Cars.

Who is this guy and what's his background?
Is this guy and his show related to the Legendary resto store?
Is he somewhere in Canada?

Peter Klute. I met him once at an auction where there were two Judge convertibles up for sale. Nice guy.

Buys, sells, and restores expensive cars off all makes.

I caught the show for the first time last night. He was trying to sell a Yekno Camaro. Based on what I saw, there were more hard negotiations face to face on this show and Chasing Classic Cars focuses more on auctions.

Peter Klute has been around a while, and yes, he owns Legendary Motorcars up in Canada.

http://site.legendarymotorcar.com/

He used to do a resto show a long time ago called "Dream Car Garage" where each season they would do a nut-and-bolt resto on some rare muscle car. He also did a couple muscle car shootout TV specials, where they ran cars through the 1/4 mile, braking tests, cornering through a slalom, etc. They had a 1969 Baldwin/Motion 427 Camaro, 1969 RAIV GTO, 1969 AMC Hurst Scrambler, 1969 Yenko 427 Nova, 1969 Shelby GT500, 1969 Super Bee 440 6-pack.

The GTO won.

Of course, it was all about tuning and prep, but it was a fun show to watch.

Klute seems alright.

Wayne irritates me. Reading between the lines as he's pimping some widow's car is nauseating.
The car just didn't bring what we thought it would bring...(but I still get paid and take the glory--haha).

Is he the same "fat man" that would always end his show with the statement: "At the end of the day..." and give HIS LEGENDARY evaluation of the car or product?
