No room for another car currently, but . . . I'll be selling the Revere Silver Formula IF I buy this one.

Great looking indeed! Sundance Orange is one of my fave colors, second only to Lucy Blue.

Hmmmmm . . . I haven't thought much about the price of the Formula yet. As a matter of fact, I'll be needing some feedback from ya'll on that.

Need to take more pics, but here's some of the info.

1972 Formula 455HO, PHS documented.
Originally Revere Silver w/ black deluxe int. Currently a poor quality black respray.

Options include:
M40
A/C
Y99 "T/A" suspension w/ G60x15's
Rally II's (gone), 15" Honeys on it now
PW
PDL
Heated back glass w/ 80A alternator
Tilt Formula wheel
Gauges & tach
Vinyl tape stripes
Conveinience lamp group
AM-FM stereo & 8-track player
Custom seat belts
Custom trim group
Roof rail moldings, etc.

Numbers match except carb and dist are gone. Correct Ram Air air cleaner is present. Trans matches. Rear end was swapped with his brother's '72 T/A (correct 3.08, but a posi - this car was not ordered with a posi). Not rusty but it needs a full resto including the interior. Rear spoiler was added.

Here are the only two pics I have of it. It's in storage but if anyone is interested I'll run by the storage place and shoot more.

It is NOT for sale unless I buy this GTO or something else like it.

Make me an offer that I can't refuse, and we have a deal!

BTW, I must be on some GOOD drugs. As shown in the pics, the correct small-center 15" Rally II wheels are INDEED still on the car. I must need more sleep, or something, LOL!

I noticed that, just figured that you had replaced them between when that picture was taken and now - not going to bust the chops of a guy who's car I want to buy.

Question

If I'm going to get serious about the Sundance car, I'm going to need a little help with some information that I don't have.

I need the correct plant code for a 7042273 carb. For reasons discussed here in the past, please PM or e-mail that information to me.

Also, since ALL of my Pontiacs have always been automatics, I'l also need any advice concerning the M22 trans ID. I'd like to make certain that it's the original transmission.

Finally, the seller has stated that it originally had a 3.31 diff. Please post or send me the correct codes for the 3.31 12-bolt, posi and non-posi. I forgot to ask the seller if it was originally a posi diff.

Also looking for someone VERY honest and knowledgable to inspect the car for me. By MapQuest directions, Laurel, MD is about 21 miles NE of DC on US Highway 1.

Many thanks!

Lloyd,

The M-22 will have the VIN stamped into the case. On my 71 the VIN runs vertical to the seam where the tail shaft bolts to the trans. I will try to get some pictures posted.

Lloyd,

If you need carb info, I have two original 7042273s. One is off of a 72 T/A 4-spd, while the other is for my 72 455HO convertible. I need both for my cars, but I'll be glad to provide photos of the carbs if you need.

Mike

Mucho thanks!

I've noticed big money spent for these early '70's carbs.
I have a '71 single booster #263 carb thats restored.
Whats the market on these, price?

I knew I saw that Wagner Gold 72 HO car before. It went thru Mecum back in '04 with them. I think price was 50K and didn't sell. Color? It was nicely done with some custom touches. 3" exhaust!
