You can check in the back seat springs - may be a partial in there. The seat part, not the back part.

As your desperation increases, start checking the other usual places: inside the seats, under the carpet, inside the door trim, stuck in an A pillar, inside the dash, etc.

As a last resort, check the trunk of the car that went down the line in front of yours.

On my 70 Judge, I found two: One was under the front passenger carpet, one was on top of the driver side gas tank directly under the strap. I also had a partial buildsheet of another car attached to mine that was on the one under the gas tank. On a 72, I found one attached to the backside of the drivers door panel, the door release handle was punched through it.

You guys are lucky. I have a Baltimore pattern Judge. I have looked under the carpet, inside the door panels, in the front seat springs (not the upright seat back--just the bottom), on top of the gas tank and found nothing--except the card found under the carpet.

I might lift the back seat again since I replaced the carpet so long ago to see if I missed one there. But I suspect there is nothing there either.

I have had this car since 79 and nothing had been out of the car before I got it so I don't believe it received any build sheet. This seems to be the story on many Baltimore cars from what I have been told.

Where have other Baltimore owners found a build sheet?

My ´70 GTO Baltimore built car had the build sheet in one of the seats, not sure wich seat since it was found before I bought the car... but it has rusty marks from the seat spring!

I have never found any of my original build sheets. The only one I ever found was on a Baltimore built LeMans I was parting out. It was above the gas tank.

I found my 2nd week July (Fremont) UNDER the sound deadener on the rear section of the transmission tunnel. There was a hole through the build sheet from the seat belt bolt. The sheet was on the driver's side. I was ripping up the tar deadener when I caught a glimpse. Pretty much legible albeit tar stained.

our car is not a judge, built 4th week July Baltimore
Build sheet was in the glove box. Mom put it with the rest of the stuff from Dave Waite Pontiac.

I found my 70 Judge buildsheet in the upper pass seat pinned between the springs and the frame, there was another under the gas tank. Some interesting penciling out and intialing on it that was discussed on another thread, car was a Nov 69 built Baltimore Judge. Mark

My original seat backs look perfect so I don't want to mess with them. I suppose one could be there though.

Are you thinking about the window sticker? A build sheet was used by the assembly line workers as the car was being built.

The two phillips screws at the bottom of the seat back are easy to remove, but removing the seat release bezel is hard to do without gouging the seat back. Better leave well enough alone on your low mileage original!

That's what I thought. It does have 89,000 on it now, but still comparatively low I suppose.

my Fremont July built 69 has it on top of the gas tank but I never removed the tank (I can just see the edge hanging out) because the original owner gave me a blue copy of that buildsheet (the trucking manifest copy) that he found folded neatly in the glove box.

It's the exact same info as the buildsheet we usually find in the trunk but it's on thinner blue paper.

My '69 is a Pontiac built Judge, and I found the buildsheet on the top of the gas tank. Unfortunately it has since fallen apart.

Default 69 & 70 RA 4 Judge Invoices

Many years ago (If I had to guess; safe to say at least 28 to 30). Prior to PHS. I bought a box of paperwork and old sales brochures. From a place that sold performance as they really knew how to order these cars! Must have been from the offices or showroom as I went thru the box I found these 2 green invoices at the bottom. Both Judges and both RA 4 cars.

They are printed on real thin paper. Looks like they might have been in a binder or tablet at one time.
