Default Holley 4777-6 Rebuild- Ball bearing?

So in the process of dissembling a 650 double pumper 4777-6 for rebuild, a very small ball bearing fell out of an unknown location. The Holley Renew Kit 37-485 I'm using came with two ball bearings of different sizes but the exploded view shows a ball bearing used in much older carb models in the accelerator pump discharge nozzle assembly. Anyone know where a ball bearing goes in a later model? Mine has a 2210 under the 4777-6

FWIW, I used this YT video for disassembly and rebuild : https://youtu.be/MeHUwEr8-XA?si=STtjcxveNCiLT8Qe

Most kits have more parts than needed. Your kit might have enough parts to do vacuum secondary carbs, also. Older vacuum secondary carbs had a check ball where the secondary diaphragm housing attaches to the main body.

I'm pretty sure there are no "balls" in a double pumper.

The older ones had balls in the accel pumps.

The balls were in the fuel bowls before they went to rubbers.

Oh, and yes, there is a ball in the vac sec housing.

Thanks all -

Weird - still have no idea where the ball came from when I disassembled. Any way to check and determine if my accelerator pump nozzles are the ball types?

Otherwise, based on the braintrust I’ll proceed ball-less!

Default Here's a pic of the early-style check ball

We've had several like this over the years.

Later versions had the upside-down red rubber umbrella-style check valve.
