Default head gaskets on a 326

i am in the process of doing a oki rebuild on a 63 326.

the previous owner use the worst oil that can be used.
sludge throuout the whole engine!!!!

i hot tanked the block, installed new cam bearings, had the crank turned .010.
new bearings, and new rings.
i took the heads apart, hot tanked them as well ( for 3 days)
new cam, lifters, timing chain, yadda yadda yadda.

i got the lower end back together and tried to bolt the heads up.

the head gaskets i got from summit stated that they were for 326, 354, 400, and 455..WTF?????

i got @ a 3.72" bore on the 326, but the head gaskets are over 4.2"

is it ok to run this engine with these big gaskets?

do they make 326 bore headgaskets?

Just about everyone has gone to the generic style gaskets. Made to fit any year & bore. I would suggest looking on Ebay for an older victor gasket set for the 326/389. That is just about the only way you will get a gasket that is close to what You need. I will check tonight when I get home & see if I have any.
