Hey everyone. A lot folks know me as Frosty on other Forums. For some reason, that name is already in use here (and its not me it seems). It is my '72 Pontiac Lemans Sport Convertible that is in the running for the Cool Rides October Ride of the Month.
I came here to say thank you. I really appreciate all the support Indymanjoe has given this thread and the votes all of you folks have given me. I really do appreciate your support. I am now in 2nd place thanks to you - only about 2.5% points behind the Corvette. So please keep the votes coming. You can vote every day, and from multiple devices it seems. I have been able to vote from both my work and home PCs. I just got back from Charleston this year to find out I was selected for this contest. If you look at the photo album associated with the Rides of the Month, you will see pictures of the car at the Sloan Show in Flint in 2008 next to the GM Futureliner, in front of a restored Standard Oil gas station near Odell, Illinois on Route 66, as well as pictures of it in and around Charleston WV. I drive this car - she ain't no trailer queen! |
