Default underhood lamp 66lemans,gto

Hi guys I have a underhood lamp I want to hook up.I just need to know where do I get pwr.and does it go in the middle of the firewall?
Thanks alot for any help.

How common was this underhood lamp? My '67 GTO has one, I wasn't sure if it is a factory or dealer item.

Pretty common, and I'm 98% sure since it was a quick install it was both Factory &/or Dealer. What's hard to come by is the correct switch.
