Default 1970 GTO early vs late fuel pump

Looking for information on fuel pumps for a 70 RA IV built late October of 69. Should this use the early pump? What is the difference between the two styles? Thanks!

I believe the early fuel pump had a larger body and the fuel line would have been different. I don't know when the date was for the change. I would post this question in the Judge section you will probably get a little more action on this topic. I think this is what your looking for. This picture was on page 189 of the PY catalog.

I have a type 2 pump and had to get the fuel line from Inline Tube. Ames doesn't sell the hard line for a Type 2 pump even though they sell the pump.
