Default 68 convo top ram question

Noticed drivers side hydraulic ram walking side to side (bumping the side panel) when putting top up/down. Found the culprit was galled threads on the “pivot” bolt pictured. I have a new one to put in but want to chase threads in mounting hole. My tap & die sets go to 1/2”. Near as I can tell looks like maybe 5/8-18? I’ll have to buy a single tap (local HD and hardware stores didn’t have that side nor a nut to at least check the thread size) and I might need to order one online. Hoping someone can confirm tap I need to buy.
Thanks
