How much back spacing can you run on a 77 T/A? And what dose offset +1mm mean? I know a guy who has a new set of Torq thrust II wheels for sale for $200 Still in the box for all four & caps a lug. Just don't know if they will fit my car.Any help would be great.

Offset is the relationship between the mounting flange and centerline of rim. Inward from centerline is negative, outward is positive, so negative offset rims stick out. It boggles the mind.
A +1 offset should be just barely over 4.5" backspace on an 8" wide rim. http://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html I dont know if they'd fit, but I bet they would.
