I know it has brakes. Kinda. NOTHING like what would be found on a similar bike today.

Hunter
My wife lived in Lemont, IL at the time that the movie Hunter was being made there, but they called it Lemont, NE. They shot some scenes in the old downtown area. The buildings are still there. Attached are photos of Steve McQueen on his motorcycle with sidecar and one of the Trans Ams used in the movie. The lady with her arms crossed was his girlfriend at the time, he had just found out that he had cancer.

If that TA was owned by anybody but Steve McQueen it would have been scrapped a long time ago. Even tho it was in Hunter, I wouldn't touch it. IMO it's beyond rebuilding, unless you have really deep pockets. Personally I wouldn't waste money on it.
You can't really see the back end of it. The way it looks to me it didn't have a rear spoiler on it, but it probably did and someone walked off with it.

100% agree.
Not a fan at all of the 403 cars, never have been, but the Hunter TransAm is far from a rot box late second Gen that's a marginal partscar/nightmare project. Even done up right with date coded nice original fenders & hood, one is not talking an obscene amt to get the car back together. The interior is typical of just about every 2nd Gen project that did not have the interior pulled out of it 30-35 years ago & that interior was properly cleaned, bubblepacked, & put up for long term storage.
