awe, come on Mike. There's only one way to figure out what the driver and car can do, bring it out and as Chris points out, put lots of rubber on the quarters. You can have the chance to do that Nov 2 (rain date Nov 9) at Martin, MI as that is the Fall FAST/FS race.

well, nothing major this year. I fought traction problems off and on as the car was off 3-4 tenths and 3 mph. it wasn't until after the first round of the shootouts I confirmed it was a bad fuel pump. qualified at 13.21. ran 13.teens in the shootouts as I took a 64 Stude Lark R3 is all 3 runs. I did manage a best ever for Stanton 2.01 60 ft, so I was happy about that.

the yearly bump? I saw that Steve C sold his 71 GT-37 and talked to him briefly at Stanton. Judge273 wasn't able to bring his car out this year. So that left me carrying the flag so to speak. First run off the trailer, 12.73 @ 111 and change with a best ever 1.915 60 ft. In the first round of shootouts Sat ran a best et at either Stanton or Martin of 12.70 @ 111.74.
The next stop is MCACN. She'll be in the Pure Stock Drags display

Hop into my F-85 and drive the mile east and west in front of my house trying to see if I could locate the emblem. No luck. Thankfully it was the worst of the emblems I have. I think I have another one somewhere, otherwise it's installing the NOS one for the show.

Got that 104 with 066 cam and not the 068 cam in the T-37 back in October '71 on a very squirrelly tire spinning run.

This past weekend was Martin FAST/Factory Stock race.
in bad air (1671ft), I pulled a 12.60 @ 111.66!!!!!! I'm still in awe
