Yup, it is a great feeling. Now you will have to upgrade that performer intake, and many more things you will find along the way!

BILTIT, Yea im moving to a Performer RPM i wanted a torker 2 but not recommended YET!

PonJohn,
Butler.

MChell,
Sorry if i confused you.

i should have used a different title

it will take about 4 weeks to get the stroker!!! not an actual crate engine.

my machinsts will take about 2 weeks to assemble.
oil pan to valve covers.

take about 1 week after that to get engine in car and engine running static.

Count on the machinists to be longer than 2 weeks, just my experience. If they are done in two weeks, kudo's to them!

Ron H,

i think it will stall around 2800.
i do know i need a higher stall, but im using the 274 CC so i think it can do for now. something to take me in the 12's.

i do have 28" though

Using the "274CC" what?
You will need to run race gas or maybe best to go to an E-85 set up instead if it's available where you are.
What headers and exhaust do you have or are you planning?
I am going to a 2" header and will have Dougs with a 3" Pypes exchange with 3" race pros available for sale soon if you are interested.I think this set up will work on a 67.

Sorry Ron, was directed at 67firebird.

Since i've got you, how do you like the 4000 stall? Do you think it is streetable? I might be looking to loosen mine up next year and lookin for some feedback, still needs to be streetable though.

No this converter isn't streetable. Its is really loose under 2400 rpm. But it isn't the Tight version, it's the race version so they build it differently.
