When I restored my car, the exhaust shop handed me a huge catalog full of everything that would fit. I'd start there.

Flowmaster makes a set that fits good and is not expensive.

Gardner is tops but only will sell full systems. Waldron's in MI may be your answer?

Talked with Waldrons. They told me that they only work with 409. Hmmm?

I had Pypes tailpipes 409ss. But started having issues with them after few years. The seams on the tailpipes started splitting in couple of places. And also not a fan of the 409 grade of S.S. Still looking for 304.

I think taperformance.com has tailpipes that work with the valence exit. I've never seen the pypes so I can't say how they compare.
I've always gone with aluminized pipes. They're Cheever and seem to last just as long on a limited use car.

I have the Pypes 2/12" stainless steel system on my GT-37 and the tail pipes seem to fit well with no clearance issues. You can see photos of my exhaust on the Pypes web site and if you Google "Pypes GT-37" you can also see a video of my car and what it sounds like.

I had the Pypes system on the car until recently when I tore it down for the rebuild. It had the tell-tale driver side tip tilt-in towards the center of the car. I even called and had another set of tail pipes shipped to me, same thing, so I gave up and just left it.

Did a Pypes on the 442, same thing. Driver's side tip angled towards the center of the car. There too I bought another set of tail pipes, same thing. Gave up on it too. I even was considering driving it up to Pypes and have them look at it.

I thought about making a cut in the pipe like 2/3s thru it, push it together, and weld it back up, to fix the tilt/angle, but because the way the pipes are, you would see the section with the weld on it.

When I do it this time I don't want to have to go thru the same mess again. I want ones that fit right and are straight/even. It's only the tail pipes that are an issue on the Pypes setups, and even considered buying a system and replacing the tail pipes from another vendor.

Same as above with Pypes...paid a shop nearly $600 in labor to correct a pypes system and it still is messed up. They could have just done a custom exhaust for me at that price. I recommend looking up a reputable local shop.
