I have one and it did the job when I ran it. Right out of the box.

i had an old junker, that with a rebuild kit and a little tuning, treated me right. ran mid 13's on a 400 back in '86 with it.

Still having lots of great driving fun with my 4175 vac sec. Been on the car since about 1993 (I have rebuilt it once) and still runs great. I am rebuilding a 4165 DP now to go with a planned 3.42 gear swap and will be seeing how much more gas I can use up!

I used one for years and it gave me no problems what so ever. I richened up the jetting and it was one of the best performing carbs that I have used. I took it off when I sold the engine. Buyer didnt want it. This was the Double pumper version. I hear that the vacuum ones suck.
