I hear you but without being in person to see it it’s hard to base much off the video personally. The flat tire although idiotic may be due to the tires being original and dry rotted and instead of replacing on they left it for originality. Again, seeing it in person would be the only way to really determine whether I’d be a buyer or not. Cool car in a unique color for sure.
Cheers

I like the Linden Green car. But I also hate what they've done with it.
It doesn't even have the right radiator support.

Wrong turn signal housing
Thermostat has been leaking for a long time
Fuel line is cobbled together
Wrong PS cap
Incorrect master cylinder
Firewall completely blacked out
66 radio knobs
Replacement window crank
Flat Hurst stick

A non-serious "collector" cut some corners. What is hiding beneath
the tuck and roll package tray?

1967-issue Wide Ovals had their redline way closer to the tire tread.

It met reserve . So the owner was aware it had issues to deal with.
#2 condition would have been much higher bidding.

About half the cars he took were nice.
The others were drive & fix types .... so I'm told.
A couple of the nice ones did not meet reserve.

@55k the new owner can probably keep his head above water.
Presuming they favor Linden Green and Post Body.

I never PHS'd any of the Linden Green cars I came across.
One place had 3 of them in one row. (about 10-12 67 GTOs in that one place)
My luck ,,,, probably one of them was RA.

I think 3 of the RA cars I know of are Linden Green.
I can't recall any with Automatic

I owned one back in the mid 70s in NE Ohio. Had 55k miles when I purchased it from Marve Minneman Chevrolet for $900. Kept it for a few years.....was my daily drive (even with the 4.33 gears) and race car. After a few years of tuning and some minor modifications (convertor, headers, some head work and slicks) the car eventually ran in the 12.60 range very reliably at Quaker City. To this day I regret letting it go for next to nothing ($600 as I remember). Next owner (quite young) blew up the engine the same day I sold it to him!

I noticed the core support also, along with all the other issues. Makes you wonder…

Tygrr67,

A fortunate find and purchase. In post #46 you wrote that you are interested in the following parts for the car: "wood wheel, interior buckets, door panels, etc". How complete and in what condition is the interior?

Default 1967 GTO

There is a chance that more of the original interior is available. It sounds like there might even be more extra parts from a different car. But to answer your question, It had a Parchment interior. I would be in the market for an original seats ( buckets and rears) in that color. I have located a decent wood wheel, but am open to something better if it is unrestored. The console came with the car and it is pretty decent. the dash and rally gauges are good as well. I also have a set of Rally One's that are unrestored. I would need unrestored bumpers if somebody has something... but if anyone has anything which is 67 GTO related and fits into that unrestored category without asking me to sell off my first born child, i'm interested.

Morning,

Documentation before and after is a must on such a rare car.

Could we get a few photos of the interior in it’s as found state before any upgrades.

Looks like the headliner needs attention also.

Thank you !

Congrats on the find!

If you need some stainless I have some. Rockers, doors and around the trunk. I also have the front bumper brackets and a few other pieces left over from my 67 that may work for you. Might even have some other items I'd like to see someone else use, haven't had time to list.

PM me and I'll send you my cell and see if what I have would help you out.
