Mike and I will be there, wandering around, talking to people and doing a little business. First time since 1996 that we won't be sending a car down the track.

Gonna be our first time to bring a car and only second time to actually go. This has been a bucket list thing for me since I heard of Norwalk many years ago. 16 hours on an open trailer...wish us luck...

We are getting ready,'already this year's time flies. Talked to Jerry Brock yesterday, they are ready. Car running, truck inspected, trailer inspected(its that time of year for inspections). Just chased a brake light on problem in car. Ckd brakes no leaks, solid pedal. Still not out, going crazy, buddy said ck emergency brake pedal. It was down one click! Duhh! Hope everyone has a safe trip with the aggressive drivers out there.

You picked a great year to make the trip. They are expecting a record turnout and that's straight from the promoter based on a SOLD OUT swap meet spaces and record pre-purchases.

I'll be there to say "hello" to people and to display the hemi-Pontiac-powered lakester (with Tri-powered '59 GMC hauler).

Unfortunately I can only attend on Friday due to having to attend one of the grand kids first birthday party on Saturday. As usual, my wife and I will be making the tour of the grounds in our black and gold 2 seat all terrain go kart, that is modified to look like a winged sprint car (see below):

I guarantee it will be the only one on the grounds. Wave me over if you wanna talk Pontiacs..........

I'll be towing the go kart with my yellow 05 GTO seen below:

I'm going to try to get to the track early friday AM, then leaving the event friday between 5-6 PM. We'll stop in Attica Ohio (Attica Raceway Park) to watch the sprint car races before we return home friday night.

Bringing my 65 Tempest street car. Hopefully it gets down the track unlike last time with the miscast aluminum intake when all it would do is spit and sputter. Can we still transfer from Linder's lot to the track on Thursday? AS I recall didn't we have to be there before 3?

I’m taking my Pontiac Ventura. It’s been more than 5 years since I’ve had it up there.

Guys, along with the most fantastic and exotic Pontiac 4-cyl ever, Jack's GMC is a must see beauty. The ultimate pick-up for a Pontiac person.

Will be wandering around aimlessly on Saturday since I am without a funny car to be sweating on. Maybe I will just randomly pic someone's car and work on it in the heat all weekend just for old times sake.

IF YOU PUT AGAINST THE FENCE on the RT 601 side, the track power is very sketchy. Take your own generator at a minimum.

FWIW: I was running at Norwalk a week ago, and Bill Bader was running the head of the staging lanes. Gotta respect a guy who jumps in and does the work himself instead of just sitting in an office. Emailed him the next day, he does respond in a timely fashion.

Its great to be drag racing again. I'd been out of the drivers seat for 3 years myself. Then like a rookie *sshole, accidentally double-bulbed someone on Sat Night. I found their pit later and apologized for being a dumb*ss and explained my lack of focus from not competing for a long time. They thought my apology was unexpected and hilarious.
