want to add a trunk light to my 72 formula
got a nice original trunk light that i want to install in my 72 formula , were to i get the power from , cant see any power lead in the trunk am i missing some parts

On the end tab of the trunk connector in the DS of the trunk. It plugs right into it. It is switched by mercury below the light bulb. ( they let you have that in Canada these days? )
This is shown in your wiring diagram, or ANY second gen wiring diagram for any F body, or G body, or C body, or X body.
