Building a new engine for our 69GP. Just curious what people think it'll make.
Its a 11:1 463ci with a 242-247 HR cam .640 lift, kre d-port heads flowing 320+in 230+ex (2.11x1.77 valves), topped off with a RPM intake and 950Holley and1 3/4 headers.

don’t wanna pee in your wheaties but thought i heard the rpm might have a lean cylinder or two in applications pushing that kind of power. maybe try a T2? or at least do a forum search to see if you find any info on that issue.

Not worried about it. But we will be testing a couple intakes including a tri-power.

I sure hope some of you guy are right but i think there are a lot of optimistic guesses here.

My 455 with 290 heads and 10.25 CR with stock type dual plane intake and a 750 carb made 550 with a touch more cam.I figure the Xtra CI,better heads, more CR,better intake and bigger carb should get him above the 600.Tom

I am curious whether you are considering beehive springs and lightweight retainers? have read some about getting more high rpm power that way.
