Friday Street Outlaws Update.
Most of the day was meeting and talking with many spectators.
Made a lot of new friends.
The Raven got a ton of compliments on the quality. People asked us if we were Racing it as they thought it was a show car. LOL.

That's even quicker than GTOGEORGE

Saw another post on the Norwalk Q16 list and it had Raven @ 8.58 / 178 for this past weekend.

With his mile per hour, I'd say it spun off the line or something? (missed shift even?)

i didn't know Ed had knocked it down into the 7-second scoreboard club yet.
... but i haven't been keeping up on my Pontiac stuff very well lately either.

It has all that potential in it though - i feel like
and more

Definitely want to congratulate him if he took it down into the 7's !

The Raven's quickest ET is 7.49 @ 186 MPH from 2019. Lots of changes this year, ed is sorting out the new changes and we expect it to run on the high 6's hopefully this 2021 season.

Boost didnt kick in until 3 seconds in. Sorting this out. Should hit over 200mph when all changes are working together.

Ed,
It is hard to see on my computer. Did driveshaft RPM go higher than engine RPM at the end of the run?

A ProCharge yes, but not one of those "71" things.

Clegg has run 6.80s with his Vortech Supercharger (Crank Driven -No cog belt) BUT
as everyone saw Mike Cooper is quite a bit faster with his Procharger set-up also Crank Driven.

Tom V.

A 281 cid engine has run 5.70s (in the quarter) with twin turbos so it is just a matter of getting them tuned to the engine properly.

Are they running traditional roots style blowers or screw type blowers? ... just asking!
