27 3/8" x 19" was the size of my ventura's stock radiator. I went with a 31" x 19" radiator because I borrowed the motor/tranny and radiator out of dad's 68 firebird, it ran 190ish in his car and would over heat in mine. I guess the frontal airflow isn't that great.

I cut my core support to match the radiator. My temps have never been over 180 since, even driving in this heat and hot lapping the car.

are you measuring the core only or the total width including the tanks? I believe it's somewhere in the 23-25" core width for a stock X-body regardless of make. The summit universal mount (I forget which one exactly) they sell for $165 would probably fit right in, minus adjusting the pads on the bottom of the core support. I just run a copper 4 core I plan to replace soon because it's getting old!!

Brian'74- Did you ever buy that summit alum-rad? I am looking at getting one too but not sure on the size and fit.

I think i will be cutting my core support as well as i have about 2 inches on the pass. side which is hidden. Hope it will help in the stop and go traffic. Electric fan is next.
